Event Details:

Local legend suggests that the culture of brawling and bear-baiting brought to Gravenhurst by loggers and lumbermen from about 1870-1910, collided with the town’s history of local theatre and music concerts in an Opera House second to none. Come and discover the clash between the brawling brawny loggers of the past and the cultured citizens of that time—and how these two opposing forces still managed to support one another.

This program is taking place in the Library and virtually.
